Florida, Part 3

We spent a good day at the local indoor bounce house and ALL of us had fun bouncing around!  Although as you can imagine, it was difficult getting good pictures when everything is bouncy.

They also had a kiddy bull to ride, play house toys, and of course pizza!

Even when everything wasn't bouncy it was hard to get pictures of these two!

Another day at the beach although this time we had lots of family and cousins to play with!

Our best attempts at getting all the cousins together for a picture.

Wait...you mean we have to go back to cold, snowy Wisconsin?!

Florida, Part 2 (DISNEY!)

The kids had a blast sleeping in a tent for the first time.  We might have to give tent camping a few more tries!  That morning we went to the park and beach before heading to the airport to pick up Grandma and Papa.  Per usual, the parents were freezing while the kids had a blast in the water.  We even saw dolphins!

After the airport it was on to Disney!  Kayla spent tons of time swimming back and forth in the pool at the All-Star Movie hotel.  We had the Fantasia section.

Waiting for the park to open!

Hi Stitch!

It was a little chilly in the morning.  It even rained a bit, but by the afternoon the sun came out and it turned out to be a great day.

So many fun rides!

Hi Chip and Dale!

Hi Ariel!

Ooh...who are we going to meet next??

Rapunzel and Cinderella!  Surprisingly, of everyone we met that day, Rapunzel was Kayla's favorite!

Yes, we spent an hour in line to meet Anna and Elsa!

I love Colin's look here.  You can tell he's not quite sure how to handle meeting Elsa.

3D Mickey show

Amazingly, we all made it through the day and the second we got back on the bus to go back home, the kids were out.  I imagine we'll be back at some point.  :)

Florida 2015, Part 1

Let's see how many posts it takes me to update everyone on our annual trip to Florida this past February.  I must say, despite it being 5 in the morning, these kids are quite excited to go!

Sadly, Jordan's grandma passed away just days before we left to go to Florida.  So when we arrived, we had just enough time to take the kids to a nearby park with grandma and papa before they flew home for the funeral.  We made sure to enjoy our short time with them till they came back.

Spent our first night enjoying the sunset.

And more days at the beach!  :)

A Florida trip isn't complete without checking out the alligator by Sharky's.

Went for a hike while the kids played follow the leader.  They loved it until it started drizzling.  Then the downpour started.  We had to find shelter under a tree (no lightning, so we were good!) until it stopped and then made the slow trek back to the car.  I think they're playing Simon Says in the last two photos.

More beach time!  As you can see, the kids and parents had very different ideas on how warm it was outside.

Kayla and her sand castle with shell decorations

Colin got cold and tired after awhile so we made him a nice nap spot with sand blanket.  I think he actually did fall asleep for a few minutes too!

Annual trip to the Bumpy Bumpy Slide park

We took the kids camping at a local county park just south of Tampa.  Went on a nature hike and Kayla read all the nature signs for us!  Colin chased his shadow.

Visited the fort, played on the beach (of course!), and walked out to the pier.

Eating dinner at our campsite.  And yes, our campsite went directly to the gulf which might just make it the best campsite ever!
