Made it to the KOA in Idaho in time for a nice but cold swim.
On the drive to Glacier, we took an itty bitty dirt road to Bannack State Park where we visited a very well preserved ghost town. Ash even got to explore with us. We checked out the hotel, saloon (and salon!), jail, school (notice how Kayla is sleeping during class!), and even the gallows. Colin felt some buildings were haunted so he stayed outside towards the end.

Made it to Glacier National Park!
A short waterfall hike
This park is hard to narrow down the best of the best pictures. Plus it helped that kids were having photo wars to see who could take the best picture.
It's hard to tell, but these three are right on the edge of a mountain!
The view from our campsite
Kayla!
We ended up staying an extra day at Glacier and returned to a watering hole where the kids (and Jordan) jumped into and swam in. Way too cold for me though!
Hiked out to Lake Josephine and enjoyed skipping rocks until the rain sent us quickly hiking back to the car.
Couldn't visit Glacier without going to the Canadian side. On our hike, Colin tried a sour thimbleberry. His face...priceless!
Unfortunately, the Canadian site was mostly burnt by recent forest fires. So not many nice scenic photos but we did find Mt. Rowe!
After five days, we started our drive home. Each day at Glacier was often met with rain but the day we left was the sunniest of them all. Stopped at Teddy Roosevelt NP for an overnight.
Pipestone National Monument was our last stop. This is where Native Americans travelled from all over to quarry the rock here to make their pipes and still quarry to this day.
Made it home! Celebrate another great family vacation by ending with Mr. Brews.
