New Puppy and More Fall

As suggested by the last post, we got a new puppy!  Her name is Ash, and she was roughly 5 months old when we adopted her.  She was a stray from Texas and we all fell in love with her when we met her for the first time.  Here's her first photo on the car ride home from picking her up.

And then like any new baby, we took A LOT of pictures of her.

Ash started by sleeping in Kayla's room with her while we were awake, then was moved to her kennel.  Nowadays, she prefers to sleep with Colin and Pumpkin (although she disapproves) before getting moved to her kennel.

Even Daddy got in on the puppy cuddling action, although if you ask Ash, Jordan is her favorite as evidenced by she listened to him all the time and listens to me...well...let's just say unless food is involved, she's not listening to me at all the little stinker.

Although on a rare occasion, she'll let me know that sometimes she loves me too.

Happy Halloween!

Colin took karate last fall.  For a kid who loves to punch and kick, it only lasted one round.

Colin started sitting out with Daddy while deer hunting!  He'll be out there hunting on his own before you know it.

Colin and I took a hike at our local county park one morning.  It was quite lovely spending some one-on-one time with this guy.

Took the kids to the voting booth last fall.  While our choice did not win, it was a good learning experience at the booth, even if they did go a little overboard on the stickers.

Fall 2016

I think we're making some headway in getting caught up in pics!  Moving on to fall...

Colin started playing football!  Football is only second best to t-ball and that's probably because Daddy offered to help coach.  :)  The only thing he didn't like about football was getting stung by a wasp.  Poor kiddo.  The highlight was getting a video of him making a touchdown!

Always fun celebrating Halloween twice, especially when drinks are involved!  The first time was at the trailer and we had two zombies on our hands.  They played the part well.  :)

The kids are helping Daddy with some yard work (new French drain!) and testing out the new cart.  Gotta make sure it can hold two kids!

Funny that I can't remember where these were taking.  I think they were at Richardson's farm!  I was even there but still can't remember...
