After Lou's at Mom's, we were on the road bright and early to New York. Even with a flat tire, we made it in time to go swimming and enjoy a campfire.
Next day was a shorter drive to another state park in NY. More swimming and relaxing by the fire. Colin actually caught a fish with just a bucket!
The following day, we went tubing down the Hudson River! It was quite nice and relaxing and even included llamas.
A few stops on our way to Vermont
Campground fun
Took the cog train up to the top of Mt. Washington. Was a beautiful day at the base but the top was cold, windy, and very dense fog. Colin and Jordan hiked to the summit. Jordan could have stayed and watched the engines for the rest of the day!
Explored the museum afterwards and pretended to be cog workers riding the rails down.
After swimming at the campground, we went out looking for a waterfall, covered bridges, and moose. Found two out of three!
Lunch spot on the way to Bar Harbor, Maine
Scenes from our campground. It was so pretty here!
Next day was spent exploring Acadia National Park. First stop was Cadillac Mountain.
More sights around Acadia
Puffin and seal watching tour!
