Florida 2018

Our annual trip to Florida started out with some early morning fun at the airport.

Once we landed, we went to Apollo Beach to look at the manatees.  We even got to pet some stingrays!

Getting up before dawn means naptime later!

One of Kayla's favorite things to do at the condo...swim!

Jordan and I took a side trip to go pig hunting.  Afterwards, we caught up with my aunt and uncle on Marco Island and took a boat ride to see the island and dolphins.

We went camping in the Everglades and then hiking the next day.

When we got back from our mini-trip, we all rented canoes and went paddling down the Myakka River.

Fun at Caspersen Beach looking for shark teeth.  The kids found a ton to add to their collection!

Colin's trying out some hair chalk

We had a blast at Busch Gardens

Our favorite was the porcupine on a leash!

Daddy made friends with a giant tortoise

The kids were up to no good with a penguin

Kayla was the only brave one of us to do the Giant Drop

You can see Colin's reflection in the mirror but him and the baby orangutan were eyeing each other up!

Kayla met a wallaby

What a fun day we all had!

More swimming and beach time!  This day we were visiting aunts in Siesta Key

Hiking at one of our favorite parks...Jelks

Unfortunately all vacations must come to an end.  Back to the airport

November/December 2017

Kayla had her 9th birthday party at the Whitewater Aquatic Center!  We had a great time celebrating with friends.

It was a busy day because later on was our holiday parade.  Kayla walked with the girl scouts (no good pics unfortunately) while Colin was on the cub scout float.

Daddy cuddle time!

Happy birthday Kayla!  After school, our friend hosted a surprise party for her.  It was so much fun!

Even Ash gave Kayla a birthday kiss!

Kayla chose the Rainforest Cafe for her birthday dinner in Chicago.  We even splurged for the volcano cake!

Colin with really long hair!

Thanksgiving family time 💓

Winter Farmer's Market and sending letters to Santa!

Ashy says Merry Christmas!

Visiting with Santa.  We're pretty sure the kids are asking for the same this year as they did last year.  Legos, nerf guns, and LOL dolls!

Kayla with her mandala that made it into the art show

Colin at his Bobcat Ceremony.  They also got to pick a leader to throw a pie at!

Christmas presents!  Santa did well.  :)

Christmas break fun!

We hosted a New Year's Eve pajama party and had a blast!  So much fun that we'll be having another one this year.
