Jordan and I kicked off our Florida vacation by participating in the Tamiami Trail Triathlon in the Everglades! It was an epic experience and by epic I mean we came close to hypothermia and stranded during kayak portion, had a great hike, and couldn't make the whole bike loop. It was incredibly windy and cold to the point where even our guide was stranded! But we still survived and completed it. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, just maybe under better weather conditions!
After that, we had some fun putzing around southern Florida as we tend to do on our mini-vacations away from vacation. :)
Came back to the condo to these two smiling faces and their Shopkin color-coordinating skills :)
Went to a wildlife park where lions, tigers, bears, and other critters go when they need a home. The highlight there were the....goats!! Ligers didn't impress these kiddos as much as the nibbling baby goats did.

We took the kids to one of our favorite alligator hotspots and watched one catch and crunch on a fish! We'll spare you the photos of that...
