Summer Camping
Our first camping trip was to Illinois with some friends. We attempted to go fishing with no luck. But the kids all LOVED horse backriding!
Next up was Roche-a-Cri State Park in September. Camping involved lots of climbing on rocks and stairs. But the views were spectacular! And yes, Colin drank a good half of Daddy's coffee. Silly hyper kid.

Summer 2016, Part 1
Ahh...summer. Can't wait! We've got lots planned for 2017. Here's a start on what we did last summer.
Camping at Mauthe Lake and fun with friends
Colin tried out t-ball and loved it! We'll be adding this sport to the list for this year. One of the highlights (maybe not for Colin) was him hitting a base hit, but his shoes were loose and he ran right out of them while running the bases.
Took the kids to see Finding Dory at our local drive-in!
Open house at the Hoard Museum
Fourth of July fireworks in our PJs!
Hanging out in the neighbor's pool at Gramma and Papa's house

Of course there were visits to the car show. Ice cream included!
We went to Six Flags Great America with some friends
It was chilly and rainy but still had an awesome time. Reminded us how adventurous Kayla is. As you can see, she went on a new and very fast ride with the adults!
Jordan took the three boys on the Demon. This is their reaction when they learned it went upside down!!
They survived!
Breakfast before heading home. What a great time!

What's a summer without swim lessons? Kayla was doing a great job learning to dive while Colin went down the slide all by himself! Just not in this pic. ;)
