What started as not having any pictures, ended with not having enough time.  But!  I now have both and will hopefully remember the past month and a half of silliness between the two kids.

Going back to Easter, we spent the weekend at Jordan's parents.  Of course Colin found the plant's water sprayer and thought he needed some spraying too.

Here's everyone dying Easter eggs!  Shockingly, not one egg cracked and no mugs of colored water spilled. I call that a success!

Looking cute in her Easter dress at church!

Yay Easter eggs!  Even Colin found all of his eggs although he lost interest after that.  Kayla made sure to help him open all those eggs.

We had parent-teacher conferences with Kayla's teacher a few weeks ago.  She is at the top of her class with just about everything!  Her teacher said she would fit right in with a kindergarten class with how smart she is.  It was great to hear so many good things being said about our Kayla bug.  Can you find Kayla at her spring concert?  She's the only one not dressed up...  Yea, comfy pants and zip-up sweatshirt.  Her parents failed on that one.  I'm blaming it on the flood (see below).  : )

Reading a book with Daddy.  This is probably one of the last photos of Colin in his/our room.  We moved him downstairs to the spare bedroom over the weekend.  The first night was a HUGE success!  Not only did I like not having to debate at 5am whether to turn over without waking him up, but Colin slept in till 8!!  We'll see how more stay-at-home days go.

Some big news that happened in the Rowe family is we were hit by flooding...again.  As you may or may not recall, we had to move out of our house for three months when I was pregnant with Kayla in '08.  Luckily the waters didn't get quite as bad, but there were a few days where it was any higher, we probably would have had to move out.  While we were both trying to not stress about it, the kids took it in stride.  They loved their morning and afternoon canoe rides!  Here's Kayla helping Daddy with sandbags for the basement.

Colin started to get tired of the rides after the first week or so.  Luckily by then, it was easy to carry him.  He is actually happy in this pictures for the canoe ride, but it was a little chilly and windy that day.
