Here are a few pics from our annual Framily camping trip to Mauthe Lake. In case you can't tell from the photos, it was probably the coldest and windiest weekend of the summer!

There he is!
Ah, Colin. A few weeks after having Kawasaki, his hand looked like it was stung by the biggest wasp ever with a few bumps on it. Urgent care couldn't figure it out either and only after several doctor visits and months later, he was finally diagnosed with papular urticaria. Basically he's allergic or over-reactive to bug bites. Poor kiddo! I will say though, it's been several weeks since his last rash and blister, so hopefully the cooler weather helps! You can see his swollen hand with the frog below.
Well this never happens. Pumpkin and Ash are getting along long enough to be next to each other!
And here's Ash helping Daddy go birding! She's been so good with listening and following us around.

Happy 4th of July!
Because Colin's birthday party was planned for the day he was discharged from the hospital, we postponed it til a month later. We had an outdoor party at our house and activities included the bounce house, pinata, squirt guns, and just overall running around outside. It was a blast! And for once, I was creative enough to make these funny face cupcakes. ;)
In Kayla news, she got her ears pierced over the summer! She did a fantastic job and didn't even flinch. Every year since she was about 5, we've asked her if she wanted to get them done, and she would always say, 'next year!' While we were there, Colin kept picking out different earrings for Kayla to wear. He had some funny choices picked for her!
