Last summer was the year of the cicadas! We drove down to Lake Geneva and introduced the kids to gobs of them. Well, Colin at least. Kayla had zero interest and stayed in the car. There were too many for her! And since we were at a client's of Jordan's, the boys pulled weeds too.
Kayla was invited to her friend Mariyah's quinceanera so I went with. It was lots of fun and a chance for her to catch up with friends.
Brewers/Cubs game...I was conflicted between which team to root for so wore items from both! Unfortunately, Cubbies lost.

Just a week before we left on vacation, our neighbor stops by with a stray kitten! We agreed to take him (cause it was impossible to say no) and he turned out to be the sweetest little boy. So meet Chester! He has since settled in nicely with the other cats and Ash. Never thought we'd be a three cat household but here we are.
Colin took a summer school fishing class and caught fish most days!
