I think we out-did ourselves with taking pictures over Christmas, that I don't have too many from the month of January to share.  Good thing there are lots of updates to make up for it.

Kayla has been playing with quite a bit with her polly pocket toys and little princess dolls.  She plays with them almost everyday after Colin goes to bed.  It's cute hearing all the names she gives them.  Always made-up names and always something different.  I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but she is such a good helper when it comes to playing with Colin.  Always willing to play with him or read books with him.  Never a dull moment with those two.  Preschool has been going well and this weekend, we have 4k open house at her school!  Luckily Kayla knows the teachers and the teachers know her, so I'm sure she'll be the one showing me all that there is to do.

Kayla has also been very into dressing up and picking out her own clothes.  Here she is being super silly dressing up as a princess butterfly dinosaur.  Luckily this is just on a stay-at-home day and not a school day.

Colin keeps adding to his vocabulary all the time.  Some good ones have been watch me, on your marks...go!, hey you, nacky (snacky), bug, and airplane (oh boy does he love his airplanes).  He can also count to 2!

Colin is one big cuddle bear.  When he's upset, not just any cuddling will do, but you have to get down on the floor, then he'll come cuddle with you and calm down.  His biggest cuddles times are right after baths.  He'll just sit in my lap all wrapped up in a towel forever if he could!  Here's Colin cuddling with his Daddy.

Colin likes to cuddle with the kitty when he lets him.

And even Kayla when she's not feeling well.

Hopefully we'll have more pictures to share next time since we're going to Florida in a week!!!  We're keeping our fingers crossed that the plane rides go as smooth as can be for our little guy.  We know Kayla will be just fine, but you never know about little Colin.  : )
