About a month ago, we went camping at Devil's Lake State Park with our friends/daycare providers and their daughter. We both left the little ones at home and while us moms were missing our babies, we had a great time not having to worry about the little ones. Unfortunately, it rained more than it was dry, but the girls made the most of it. They played board games, phone games, and their own silly games.
The campsite's website claimed the site was big and level, and while it was big it certainly was not level. You can see in the picture below how high the step is compared to the girls. They both had to crawl up just to get in the camper!
View from the pier. Kayla was not a fan of being on the pier or the dragonflies that were flying all around her, but she sure did like the butterflies.
Look, Mama caught one!
Slide races!
Hey, there's the sun! The sun did not last very long at the beach, which made the water very cold. Of course it started raining soon after we were done and didn't stop till the next day.
We can't have a post without our little goofball Colin. This was taken after a rainy morning and some help from Daddy to 'fix' his hair.
