April 25, 2010

If Kayla could be outside all day long, I think she would do it. Now that the dandelions are out, Kayla can't get enough of them. She loves to pick as many of them as she can and fit them all in one hand. She likes to do that with sticks too, but gets frustrated when she can't fit anymore sticks in her hand. Here she is enjoying allll of our dandelions.

She is starting to say just a bit more than before. She can now say 'da-da' and for the most part, she knows what it means. She also knows what a sheep (ba ah), a cow (muhhh), and a lion (reh) say. She has an animal picture book and can point to a whole bunch of animals if you ask her.

My parents' trailer opened up a week ago and while they were raking leaves, we took the opportunity to get our leaf pile picture with Kayla in it that we weren't able to get last year. Although she wasn't too sure about those leaves...

We went shopping yesterday and thanks to a birthday gift card, we got her a new stroller for her dolls! This is currently her favorite toy and she just loves to stroll her dolls and whatever else fits into the stroller (that's an etch-a-sketch with the doll) all around the house.
