It's been awhile since I've posted on our baby boy, but we're still chugging along at 22 weeks. We had an ultrasound last week and all looks well and right on track for a May baby. Kayla was very intrigued by me laying on the table and wanted to do it when I was done. So she layed on the table too and lifted her shirt up so her belly could be examined. The technician was so nice and squirted some goo on her belly and did an ultrasound. Kayla loved it!
Had a doctor's appt earlier this week and baby had a good heartbeat. I've doubled my weight gain since four weeks ago and I'm now at 10 pounds. The belly seems to get bigger everyday and is definitely very noticeable.
We were in the car a few weeks ago and tossing out name suggestions to Kayla and she turned didn't like any of them until I jokingly asked about Noopy. (Noopy is short for Snoopy in Kayla's world). She loved it! So now baby boy is lovingly called baby Noopy. Kayla likes to ask to see Noopy and give him kisses on my belly. I can't wait until she can feel him move. No name decisions yet. Boys are tough!
I'm still feeling pretty well. My headaches come and go, but luckily Tylenol helps out quite a big. I'm starting to get a little bit of heartburn but no where near as bad as last time. The sciatic nerve occasionaly hurts but only when I don't have my daily walk to/from work. Other than that I feel great. Oh and hungry too. Very hungry. : )
