Baby is well on its way into second trimester. Overall, I'm feeling pretty good as second trimester should be, but I'm still getting headaches. I definitely don't have as bad of sciatic nerve pain or heartburn. They both come up occassionally, but no where near as bad as the first pregnancy.
Kayla went with me to my last appointment and was able to hear the baby's heartbeat. She even read the numbers on the heartbeat machine. The doctor was VERY impressed. She still points to my belly when I ask her where the baby is.
The ultrasound went well and everything looked good. The two ultrasound technicians think they know what we're having but I'm not saying a word until we have double-confirmed proof, so you'll just have to wait until January 4th!
I haven't had too many cravings that I know of, although this past week I have been extremely thirsty. My next appt is in 1.5 weeks. Maybe Kayla will come with and read the heartbeat machine again. : )
Oh, and I think (???) I felt some movements just last night. I'm sure in the next week or two, I'll start feeling more. Can't wait till baby is big enough that I can see its pokes, although I might regret that when it decides to kick me in the ribs.
