I've said it once and I'll say it again. The time has gone by way too fast. I can't believe Kayla is going to be 6 months old on Friday! She is growing up so quickly! Everyday she is finding ways to do new things. She went through a phase where she stuck her tongue out at everyone, to blowing bubbles, and now she likes to make chewing noises. She is also making sounds like ma-ma and ba-ba. Of course she doesn't know what they mean and she usually says them when she is getting fussy, but it still puts a smile on my face.
Kayla has become very attached to her Minnie doll to the point where we have had to go out and buy a couple more. She had one night where Minnie was in the wash and Kayla was not a happy camper! Now she has a selection of Minnie's to choose from.
I don't know if I mentioned this in the last post, but Kayla is eating a small variety of solid foods. She started on rice cereal and has graduated to sweet potatoes, bananas, and avocados. She loves them all very much. This weekend, she gets to try pears!
Kayla's daycare provider is going to Florida this Thursday through next week so my Mom and sister are coming up to watch her this week and Jordan's parents will be up next week to watch her! Kayla is going to have lots of fun!
I will hopefully update again soon, but until then, enjoy these pictures!
