Well, there is not much new to report on the crawling attempts as there are still none. Kayla loves to stand while holding onto your hand or pitter-patter her feet while you help her 'walk'. If I learn how to put video up on livejournal, I will have to show everyone. It is quite cute and very unique. Kayla now has a total of 6 teeth! She is getting her two top front teeth so we joke that she is turning from a vampire into a baby hillbilly.
Kayla is starting to grow out of her baby food. She'll eat a few bites and then insist on eating whatever is on your plate instead. She would much rather eat from a grown-up fork than a baby spoon. She tried her first french fry today and wasn't too sure about it. She also ate a few bites of macaroni and cheese, which she loved!!
Some of her favorite things to do include: talking in her cute voice and trying to play with the "kee kkaa" (kitty cats); playing with water whether it's in a cup, bowl, tub, or pool; knocking over towers of any kind; playing patty-cake; pitter-pattering her feet; watching dada's pictures on the computer slide show and calling each one "bau"; eating avacadoes and bananas; playing at daycare; riding in her Nascar; and sleeping with Minnie.
Tuesday starts her babytime at the library! She will go every Tuesday for four weeks for a half hour to play with other babies 0-18 months old. I'm really excited to see how Kayla interacts with the kids as well as meeting other moms.
We didn't take too many pictures on the last couple of weeks, but here is one of her in vampire mode.
