Kayla has reached that stage where if she doesn't understand something, she'll ask Why. And not just once, not just twice, but many many times. And sometimes she'll get a little confused and throw in a Because?
No new photos at the moment. They are all on the camera so you'll just have to picture Kayla being cute, which she is just about every moment of the day. Although Kayla's had a rough week this past week. She's been having trouble going to the bathroom (it took a week), had a fever, refused to drink... We even tried her favorites juices and tried to buy Dora popsicles, but Kayla said no to all of them. We made a trip to the doctor who couldn't find anything wrong and the next day she was fine again. She was really good for two days and now she's back to being mopey and not drinking much. Hopefully she'll be thirsty and back to her usual self tomorrow morning.
Grandma, Kayla, and I went shopping a couple of weeks ago and Kayla was trying on a pair of sunglasses when she said, "Look at me, I'm beautiful!" On that same note, after the doctor's last week, she got a sticker, put it on her shirt, and said, "I'm so cool!"
Kayla discovered pink (strawberry) milk a few weeks ago. Mama was craving some pink milk so I got some to share with Kayla. She was sitting in the shopping cart and refused to let go of the milk until we got home to give her some. She is now a huge fan of pink milk (and Mama too!).
The other cute Kayla saying was we were eating cinnamon rolls for breakfast this past weekend and I had picked up the second to last one. Well Kayla wasn't very happy about that and kept telling me to put it down. I didn't and after a few times said, "For the last time, put it down!" We all got a big kick out of that.
We're all looking forward to nicer weather so we can get out and go to the park! Hopefully this weekend it will be nice enough outside. While we wait for it to get warmer, Kayla has become a whiz at her puzzles. She'll start in the morning with a new puzzle and by the end of the day, have it all figured out without asking for help.
This past weekend, we got Kayla's new downstairs room all set up! It looks too cute and while I'm very excited for Kayla to move downstairs, I can't help but be very sad that she'll be leaving our room.
But that just means that Noopy is coming soon and I'll update on him soon!
