I forgot to update from last time, but Kayla is feeling much better from the bug she caught a few weeks ago. It was just a 24 hour thing and she came out of it just fine. On a better note, Kayla's fourth molar came in just a few days ago. So she has all of her back chompers in for awhile. She is using them quite well as she always thinks she can fit more in her mouth that what she should be putting in there.
Kayla is keeping up her with her walking and her crawling. She is getting must more assertive when it comes to moving around. If she sees a toy across the room that she wants, she'll crawl right over and get it. Her new favorite game is throwing one of her many balls and either crawling to get it or having me walk her over and get the ball only to throw it again to chase after it.
Another favorite game is to go walking towards the stereo and tv and start pushing buttons. Her favorite button of course, is the power button. : )
We started babytime again at the library. It's been a lot of fun watching Kayla interact with the other babies. She like to pat them on the head. Most of the kids were in the last babytime so it's enjoyable to watch everyone grow up. Since I have Friday's off, we also go to playtime at the library. There aren't too many other kids her age, but she still has fun walking around and sliding down the slide. And speaking of slides....
Kayla got a new playset from Mommy and Daddy for Christmas! She absolutely loves it! She's not strong enough to climb up in it yet, but when we put her at the top of the slide, she has a blast sliding down and asking to go up again.
I can't believe we haven't taken more pictures these past couple of weeks! Next post will have lots more, I promise!
