Kayla had a great Christmas and was very excited about opening presents and passing them out. However, that will have to wait until next post, since this one is all about her final birthday party at the Bounce House! She was a little hungry before starting, so she downed some nachos (with Mama's help).
As it just so happened, Santa was at the Bounce House!! Kayla was clearly not as excited as we were.
The Bounce House was much more fun than Santa. I don't know who had more fun, Kayla or Daddy. Kayla's favorite was the big slide.
After the bounce house, we all headed over to the party house for hot cheese, presents and cake. Here's Kayla and her cousins digging in to the yummies.
Cake time! Each munchkin had to be restrained from plunging their fingers into the cake. : )
And of course, here's Kayla after all the frosting has been cleaned off the cake.
As always, Kayla is saying something new everyday. For awhile, she answer any question with a Yeaaa or a Noooo. It's hard to explain, but imagine the a's and the o's going up as she says them.
I think Kayla's new favorite animal is the elephant. She knows it starts with the letter E and she loves to make the elephant noises or make me sound like an elephant. Real elephants were on the tv the other day, and she was very interested in their big ears and the babies.
Kayla still loves to watch home "moomies" with Dada. There's something about watching herself on the computer that can keep her entertained for a long time. Her new favorite sweet treat are "marpillows" (marshmellows).
I'll post soon on our Christmas!
