Here come more Kayla photos! I know I've said it before, but I really think Kayla is learning something new or doing something different every day. Just these past couple of weeks, Kayla has learned how to pick herself up from sitting to standing! It makes it a little bit easier for us now that she knows how to get up.
Not only does clapping make Kayla very happy and proud of herself, but now she likes to give everyone high fives! And if there is more than one person in the room, just like her giving kisses on the cheek, she has to make sure every single person gets a high five from her. She doesn't like to leave anyone left out.
Kayla's daycare provider, Jenny, is trying to teach Kayla baby sign language. Kayla knows 'more', but doesn't know how to use it so we're working on that one.
We had our last playgroup at the library for awhile. Our library is moving to a temporary location while it remodels and there is no spot there for playgroup. Kayla has really taken to enjoying watching and 'playing' with the other kids. Most of the time, she'll run around and do her own thing, but every now and then she'll will share toys with others or a kid will come up and give her a hug. It's too cute! We're planning on heading to the park when it gets warmer out, but I may not be going to as many playgroups since I will be working full-time at the DNR! It's only temporary through September, but I'm excited about the new review/mapping work I will be doing.
Some other news is that we have put our house on the market! So if you know anyone who is looking for some river-front property, let us know! We're looking to move a bit closer to Madison so I don't have as far of a drive. It's hard being away from Kayla and getting home late!
We have new pictures of Kayla, but they are all still on the camera and since we are out of town at the moment, I'll just have to post more pictures from Florida. : )

Kayla's Sayings:
"nuh uh uh uh uh" - This is Kayla's no. If you ask her something and she wants to respond with a no, she'll say this instead. I would say a good majority of the time, when she says uh uh, she means it.
