Kayla's going to be four months old next weekend! Where has the time gone?? As before, she is doing very well. Smiling all the time as well as lots of laughing and squealing. One of her favorite games to play is peek-a-boo. She is adjusting to daycare very well. We found an at-home center just down the road from our house. She watches three other girls (two of those are her own). And the kids have just fallen in love with Kayla!
I'm slowly adjusting to going back to work. I greatly miss my days with Kayla and I would give up work in a heartbeat to have those days back. I just need to find a way to make money while being at home. Or just win the lottery! I'm very lucky, though, that I have a daycare provider that I like and trust so I don't have to worry about Kayla all day.
As we're quickly discovering, Kayla is very camera shy. In most of her photos she has a very bewildered look on her face. We've tried taking video of her laughing and being cute, but if she has any inclination that there is a running camera nearby, she will immediately stop what made us want to take video of her. However, we do have a few cute ones...except that livejournal is having some errors, so it looks like it will just be this one for now.
