Kayla just had a doctor visit today (no shots!) and she is growing like a weed! Well...her height and head size grew quite a bit, up to the 55 and 66 percentile, respectively. Her weight is up to 16 pounds, 10 ounces which is at the 12% up from 10 last time! That's our little peanut!
She is eating a lot of new food with the most interesting being beets! She is drinking water from a sippy cup and starting to eat finger foods. Still no crawling, but she is standing with help. I don't think she'll be crawling anytime soon, but I see her walking soon!
All three of us had a great time up at Voyageurs National Park! We only had two days to spend up there, but we made the most of it and saw a good portion of the park. She was a really good car rider and played with her books most of the time she was awake. She was also really good sleeping in her pack and play at the hotels. Even one where a bunch of loud drunk guys came back to their room at 3am!
This made for a beautiful picnic spot! A doe and her fawn even stopped by.
Kayla's taking a break from hiking. She loved hiking minus the mosquitos. We should have brought her front carrier since she liked looking out instead of looking at the back of Jordan's head.

Even though Kayla looks really grumpy here, she actually had a great time on the boat tour. She loved the wind blowing through her hair. We saw a lot of wildlife on the tour including bald eagles and loons!
Kayla's first swim in the pool and she loves it! She's like a fish when she's in the water.
