Kayla has turned into a very cute babbling girl. Her new words include buckle and buh bye. She also knows two new animal sounds. Dog, "Ruh ruh" and Cat, a very high pitched "Meyew". It's so cute! When she's not speaking in words we know, she is constantly babbling about something to someone.
Somebody really likes their toast!
We have noticed as Kayla is getting older, that she has a new way of expressing her frustrations that we can only hope will be short-lived. Tantrums! When something is not going her way, oh boy, does she show it. But then 2 minutes later she is her happy giggly self. Silly girl.
Kayla had a trip to the doctor's about a week ago. Still tall and skinny. She had a foot growth spurt recently because in a matter of a week or two, all except one pair of sandals do not fit anymore. It happened so fast that we have no replacements and better get out shopping soon! So we have now taken to going barefoot outside. Now Daddy and Kayla need to get Mommy to go barefoot. : )

As we all know, Kayla loves animals. She loves to pull our cats tail and give him raspberries and he just lays there and takes it. Here is a photo of Kayla with some dogs "Ruh ruh"! Nice puppies!
Kayla finished her last round of babytime at the library last month. She moves up to toddlertime in September where they work on more hands-on activities. Kayla really enjoyed all the babies and tots especially the kids who were her age. Kayla does a very good job of playing next to other kids and sharing. She'll be making friends before we know it!
