What a month this has been. We are currently one week into our daycare's maternity leave. She had a girl last Tuesday! I can't wait to meet her and see Kayla point and say baby! So last week, my sisters (Llleeee and DeeDee) came to watch Kayla. Now Grams/Ammie/GeeGee (we're not sure which one yet) is on Grandma duty this week. I know Kayla is just loving all this family time. : ) Next week will be Grandma and Grandpa Rowe's turn.
Here's Kayla downing some pudding parfait:

Just recently, some friends gave us their 20+ year old pop-up camper. After some cleaning and fixing up, we went on our first camping trip! Destination: Door County! We spent four days up there and had a fabulous time. Here we are at the campsite:

Unfortunately, poor Kayla Bug got sick the first full day we were there. We think she drank too much the night before (a sippy cup and a half in less than 15 min!) and it sat in her stomach all night since her diaper was dry the next day and was sick all morning. She slept most of the day but was feeling much better by the afternoon:

Kayla had a blast playing in the water while we watched the sunset:

Hiking was fun as long as food and drink were included. If not, then Kayla let us and everyone within a mile of us know about it. Here's Kayla on a 'walk' as she calls it:

And of course, a good family shot:

Kayla has been increasing her vocabulary literally every day. She can now count 1-10 and is starting to learn her colors. One of her new favorite toys to play with are stickers. She can spend many many minutes trying to peel them off and stick them all over herself. She's also starting to be able to climb up things like her playhouse and chairs. What a cutie pie!
