The three weeks of maternity leave from daycare went by fast! Kayla really enjoyed spending so much time with her aunties and grandparents. I was nervous she wasn't going to want to go back to Jenny's, but she put my fears to rest the very first day! She was thrilled to go back and can now say everyone's name at daycare including baby Kieryn!
Kayla Bug has been growing up so fast this month, I can't get over it! She now knows all of the colors of the rainbow including black and white. She finally came up with a great name for our Moms....Grandma! : ) Her favorite response to any question is NO. I'm sure we will get tired of all the "no's", but right now it's pretty cute. She now calls the cats by their names, "Pudge and Puhkin" along with "bunny". Her favorite foods are hot cheese (mac and cheese), cookies, and Dora juice since sometimes her juice comes in a Dora cup. She also knows some directions (behind, up, down). Her favorite toys are puzzles and books. Of course her favorite outside activity is to go to the park!
Oh and she just, finally, got her bottom eye tooth in. Here's a cute Kayla story. The other night she was playing with all of her dvd cases and after awhile, decided to bring them down the hall into the kitchen somewhere. Jordan and I let her do that a bit, but we started getting nervous after a couple of times without bringing them back. So we asked Kayla where she was putting her movies and this is where she led us:
And you can't tell from this photo, but we had some pretty messy chicken parmesean for dinner. Luckily we were able to clean all the cases. : )
Here's another cute one. We were at my aunt's house for a birthday party a few weeks ago and the three youngins were eating at the picnic table. Well, Kayla didn't need any help eating because Maddie decided to feed all of Kayla's food to her!
And here's Kayla and Dada watching Kayla movies on the computer and just being plain silly. Kayla LOVES watching herself in the movies. : )
