Kayla has become a talking machine! From the words I mentioned last time, she now knows what 'mine' means, unfortunately. She also says 'feesh' because that is now her new favorite animal. And how convienent that we have a movie with fish, fish crackers, fish t-shirts, fish towels, fish stuffed animal, etc.... : ) Her new words are now combinations of old ones to create very short sentences. Oh boy - when she sees lots of motorcycles. My personal favorite is 'Hi Mama'. Dow pees - down please. She also came up with a name for Grandpa S!! 'Papa!' Or it could be bapa, we're not sure. But it's cute to see that she now calls him that. Another favorite and interesting word she learned is 'longmo', which means lawnmower. Now everything that sounds like a lawnmower or even looks like a lawnmower, like a tractor is longmo. Too cute. : )
Kayla is still a huge fan of water, whether it be out of a bowl or in the 'pool'. She learned that word this weekend. She'll splash and splash in the kiddy pool and then we'll take her to the big pool where she will want to jump and make us swim her from person to person.

We took Kayla to her first fireworks show on the 4th! Kayla loved saying 'hi' to everyone who passed by. (She'll even do that while we're driving on the golf cart.) She was a bit scared at first, but thanks to a great blanket idea, she sat back and started to enjoy them.
