What a Christmas weekend we just had! It was quite hectic going from house to house, but we all made the most of it. Kayla's favorite part was the PRESENTS and Colin was just thrilled to chew on some wrapping paper for awhile. He is hardcore teething, and we all can't wait for those two front teeth to appear so he's not as fussy. He is also sitting up all on his own, and just tonight, took a tubby with Kayla and they had a blast together.
But let's get back to catching up on photos. Here's Kayla in a leaf pile that Jordan made for her. She enjoyed it for all of 2 minutes, so we didn't get very good pictures.
Here is the first of four birthday parties for Kayla. She specifically asked for chocolate cake with purple frosting, so that's what we made. She was super happy about the dora nightlight she got too.
For the past month or two, Colin has taken to sleeping on his stomach with his booty in the air. It's quite adorable.

Like father, like son...I like the random sticker on the chair too
Kayla has decided that she is now a baby butterfly. If you ask her who she is, she'll say baby butterfly. What about dada? Dada butterfly. Colin? Big girl baby butterfly (??) Mama? Baby lion....not sure why I'm the baby lion but it grew on me. For awhile, she wouldn't call me mama, I was the baby lion. Then about a week ago, she got sick (fever was all), but for whatever reason, from that moment on, I was no longer the baby lion. I was now just the mama. Everyone else kept their name except me. I'm a little sad. I'm gonna miss the baby lion. Here's Kayla on the day she became baby butterfly.
