Just as I thought, Kayla is now a pro at sitting up on her own. It is a welcome accomplishment as this means, we can plop her on the floor and work on things around her while she plays. It makes it a lot easier for her to play with all her toys when she's sitting up. Although now, she doesn't get much time to work on her rolling and crawling, but that's fine by me! At the moment, I'm happy she's not mobile.
As for new foods, she has tried apples and carrots and likes both. Still her favorite are pears and least favorite are peas. She is also eating small pieces of baby cookies and crackers.
Just tonight, she carried on a conversation with me and Jordan for about a half hour. She just babbled away while blowing bubbles. We only wish we knew what she was trying to tell us.
Her bottom gums are looking more swollen by the day. I've been saying this for so long now, but those teeth are going to be poking through very soon!
