Ahh...1 more month and Kayla is going to be 2!!! She is growing up way too fast. Do I say that too much?? : ) But it's soooo true! She has been so chatty and able to have an actual conversation with you! She now plays for periods of time by herself and will watch Elmo videos. She'll count to 13 and know what each number means and say her ABCs and identify a good portion of the letters. I can go on and on with how big she's getting.

Kayla has officially mastered the park! She can climb up the stairs herself and cross the bridge by herself and go down all the slides by herself. She loves it! On the nice days, Jordan picks Kayla up at the park and they usually stay for longer while they wait for me to get home from work.

Have I mentioned Kayla's 'look'? Well she has a 'look' and she's not afraid to use it although she is most likely to use it when she's eating. She'll give the 'look' to Mama, Dada, Dora cup, picture, fan, food, etc. Here she is giving you the 'look'!
Last weekend our Wisconsin football team upset the #1 Ohio State and Kayla celebrated by wearing Jordan's Wisconsin sweatshirt!
Kayla's saying of the day: As Kayla and Dada pull up to a stop light, Kayla says, "Red light. Stop Dada. What the heck Dada." And then as they pass the ice cream (lick) shop that is closed for the season, she says, "Dada, lick closed. Abre Dada." Abre means open in Spanish. Kayla learned this from her Dora books! What a smart cookie!
