In a span of just over two weeks, Kayla doubled the number of teeth she has from 2 to 4. In addition to the two bottom teeth, Kayla now has to eye teeth on the top! She looks just like a miniature vampire. Once we get some good pictures, I will make sure to post. No updates on crawling or walking. Although she LOVES to 'walk' with someone holding her. I'll have to post pictures of that next time too.
On the food front, Kayla is now eating broccoli and cheese. I just made her some beets today, so I'm hoping she likes those too. This pic is of her munching on spaghetti.
Jordan made Kayla her own racecar from a cardboard box and she just loves 'driving' her car! It's a #17 car because that is Jordan's favorite nascar driver, Matt Kenseth. You're guarenteed to hear a giggle or two from Kayla when she's driving around.
Kayla also loves to play in kiddie pools! She will splash and splash with her feet. This past weekend we didn't have her suit with us, so she just went in her outfit and rode home in a diaper. : ) At the same BBQ, Kayla also had her first pony ride! She wasn't quite sure about the ride, but she really liked petting the horse on the nose.
Unfortunately, the big news with our family is that I was laid off my job. To save on money, Kayla is only going to daycare three days a week and is with me for two days. I love that I get to see her again, but not so happy about not having a job. Hopefully this will be a very temporary situation!
So since I have a bit more time and Jordan has vacation days that need to get used so we're heading up to Minnesota this weekend! We'll do a bit of hiking and a lot of playtime with Kayla.
