We are having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, had to get that out. : ) And boy oh boy is this little guy moving around. He's the size of a baking potato this week or 5.5 in so it surprises me that he can jab so hard. And we still have over half the pregnancy to go! He literally took my breath away in the car today because it felt like someone snuck up on me and jabbed me with their finger.
I've been feeling overall really good lately. Almost no heartburn, backache, or sciatic nerve unlike last time. My sense of smell is constantly on overdrive and it makes it hard at work when my desk is so close to the kitchen. I can usually tell what most people are cooking without even getting up. It makes lunch that much harder when I want to eat everyone else's food.
My belly is growing bigger and becoming fairly noticable depending on the clothes I'm wearing. I'm not taking belly pictures like last time, so no visual this time.
I have gained about five pounds so far. Looking back, I had gained this weight by week 14. My doctor says no need to worry though since it was quite obvious that the baby and me are both doing fine. However even though I haven't gained as much weight (so far) as last time, I pretty much am only wearing maternity clothes whereas last time, I still was wearing regular clothes with maternity clothes. This amazes me since I've been out of my old clothes for weeks now! Although I think the baby is carrying lower this time around, which they say is common for boys.
No names picked out yet. So far none of us agree on each others' name, which makes it a little hard. However if you ask Kayla what she will name her brother, she'll say, "Baby."
