Eek! I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted. We've been super busy and internet connection comes and goes. But things are moving along smoothly and Kayla is 32 weeks along now! She weighs in at almost 4 pounds. She continues to kick constantly and thinks it's funny when she kicks me in sensitive areas like the ribs and ticklish spots. I can see her smiling in the womb now. Since the last post, I have failed a glucose test, which tests for gestational diabetes, but then passed the second test so all is well there! I also went from one doctor visit with a weight gain of 11 pounds in a month(!) to the next visit and losing 2 pounds in three weeks. My doctor was not concerned though since she said my belly is still growing. So my total weight gain is 22 pounds. I have my next appointment on Monday and they are now every other week. We are getting close!
We had our first baby shower a couple of weeks ago and received many wonderful items including the crib and stroller! We also received some dressers and a glider so we have a very cute looking nursery right now. I'll have to post pictures when things are more organized. We still have not moved back into the house yet because we are waiting on the last contractor to come (hopefully tomorrow) and get running water in our house. Once that is completed and our water has been tested we'll be back in. I can't wait! I have a growing to-do list as I think my nesting urge is starting to kick in. I want to clean and organize and make sure everything is perfect for our little KB.
